    Well,well. All's well that ends in the well.... Looking forward to a fun and yummy day on Tybee. Come early, stay late! For those wishing to rest their heads overnight,
options include renting a hotel room or condo, and there is the campground for tents or RV's! They might even have a cabin available. Call them at 912-786-5518 and check it out!

 

Well gang, we are 2 short weeks away. I'm making my lists and checkin'em twice. The amenities at the Guard House include a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, sink, and cabinet plus drawer space for storage with counter space prep area. You'll need to bring hot pads, cooking spoons , spatulas, also paper towels. I have a bag of dishtowels that do double duty on the tables.

                         PARKING PASSES  
There are parking spaces adjacent to the building across from the ball field. If you already have a Tybee pass, we can be generous and use the Ft. Screven lot.

   

 
 

 

2024 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Saturday, October 26th

      The order of events on Saturday is "Pile in and Hang Out".  There will be  Corn Hole will be on most likely in the back. Softball on tap for the ballfield. Don't forget balls, bats, gloves, etc.

There is no set time for dinner. Currently we have volunteers for pulled BBQ and buns. with all else coming as a covered dish. There is a stove, microwave, refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen.

 In the GuardHouse. Coffee will be on. There are tables and chairs inside but you'll need yard chairs for the porch and yard!

THINGS TO DO AT THE PARK

     Besides eating, picture-snapping, hugging and back-slapping, there are a number of free-time activities available at the park.  Suggested activities include:

FAMILY DINNER

     To quote the late great Ed Sullivan, "This is the "really great shewww!" For all who are able, let's go for some real down-home cooking. We'll provide the fBQ, rolls and sweet tea. Y'all bring the sides, salads and desserts. Donations of paper goods and bottled water always appreciated. Please send a FB post or email cuznlynn@bellsouth.net if you can help in this area.                                                           The Guard house

The Guard House seats 100. The kitchen facility is a commercial design featuring a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, sink,  
Paper goods and plastic ware will be there.

PLEASE NOTE: THE PARK DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPLIES OR COOKPOTS IN THE KITCHEN! YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN UTENSILS, POTS AND PANS AND ANY EXTRA APPLIANCES SUCH AS TOASTERS, COFFEE POTS OR ELECTRIC FRY PANS AND DON'T FORGET HOT PADS!
